Greetings from Lt.Col Mohamed A. J. Al-Ansari, UN-INSARG Chairman Africa, Europe, Middle East

In the year 2007 I entered the field of search and rescue in which I discovered a world of teamwork, whose real heroes are anonymous soldiers who have dedicated their whole lives to save and help people all around the globe.
It is certain that among those heroes there are some of my friends from the IRO, who have devoted a lot of time and exerted high efforts in this field by using friendly dogs.
Upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, an INSARAG classified international UAE search and rescue team was established. Therefore, we started the strategic partnership with the IRO, which enabled us to achieve high success and, which should allow us to be upgraded to a Heavy Team in 2013.
For the 3rd Worldwide Day of Search and Rescue Dogs on Sunday, 24.04.2011 – originally initiated by the IRO – we wish all participating organizations all over the world a successful presentation of their important work. A lot of training, mostly done in the background and with not enough public recognition, can then be presented to the public.
And with that, one will see the magnitude of work and effort, carried out by our friends all around the world with all teams, in a highly-appreciated manner that makes us proud and makes us stand to show respect to those people.
Thank you to the IRO for everything!
